2023 Tata Nexon Launch Date
The refreshed compact SUV is all set for release on September 14th. The second facelift for the Nexon, along with its electric variant, promises substantial enhancements without a generational change. In fact, the updates that are in the pipeline look promising enough to bestow the hot-seller with tons of freshness. An earlier sighting revealed the rear-end of the new car. It also gave us a look at the new electric blue paint shade. Now, the Nexon 2023 has been seen in a white colour. Recent glimpses of an uncamouflaged rear design during a Nexon facelift TVC shoot have amplified the excitement. The latest spy shot confirms the first batch of the SUV is in the process of arriving at the dealership yards. What it also signals is that the test drives could commence shortly.
CURVV-Inspired Styling Theme
Tata has successfully elevated the Nexon’s premium appeal by incorporating modern styling elements with a design that made its debut at the Auto Expo 2014. These new additions, as seen in the spy shots, improve the vehicle’s overall aesthetics. At the front, the revised fascia features new lightning fixtures with hood-level DRLs and main beams at a lower position. The bumper looks sportier with bolder creases and a sleeker grille. At the rear, the Y-shaped LED tail lights have been replaced with sleeker, connected ones bearing a similar Y-shape.

The interior now boasts a 10.2″ touchscreen infotainment screen akin to the Nexon EV Max. The AC vents have been revised, while the center console is an all-new affair. The aircon controls are now touch-sensitive and even the gear selector is completely new. The biggest highlight, though, is the new two-spoke steering wheel and an all-new fully-digital instrument console.

Tata Nexon Facelift Specs
A big update under the hood will be the introduction of the all-new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The new motor offers 121 PS and 225 Nm, a significant improvement over the 120 PS and 170 Nm of the outgoing engine. The Diesel engine will be the same with 110 PS and 260 Nm. Akin to the outgoing model, it will be available with a DCT (Petrol-only) and 6-speed manual and AMT options. As before direct rivals include the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
