Maruti Suzuki India is now all set to launch a new Maruti Ertiga Anniversary Edition for its consumers. The special editions are getting launch to salute the MPV and celebrate its first anniversary. The anniversary editions will be going to be limited. The variants of the MPV will also depend on the car maker. Maruti Ertiga was launched in India on 12th April 2012.
Maruti has seen a huge success after the launch of the MPV Ertiga. The car has become a role model for many of the auto makers. It seems that more than Maruti there is no other automobile player which understands the Indian consumers. The Ertiga has been a successful model as record also says about the MPV. The recorded figures are more than 70,000 units in its foremost year of launch. The current model of the Ertiga offers one a large space, comfortable interiors and the compact look. If we talk about Toyota Innova and Tata Aria then in comparison to both these vehicles Ertiga got lot more consumer’s attraction. Selling 70,000 units in the first year of launch is commendable for the auto maker and seriously saying it is not an easy task to make it practically as it looks on paper, but then with the hard efforts of team Maruti it has come true.
The Maruti Ertiga anniversary edition offers a silver finished chrome plated grille. The fog lamps also have change in them and they house chrome plating too. There are leather seat covers and anniversary emblem. We are predicting that Maruti can also offer an optional GPS navigation system and a Bluetooth music system. These GPS navigator system and a Bluetooth music system are also available in the recently launched Maruti SX4 version. The Maruti Ertiga is available in petrol and diesel variant options. The MPV is powered by the 1.4 K series petrol engine which makes out a maximum power of 90Ps @ 6000 Rpm and a maximum torque of 130 Nm@ 4000 Rpm. The diesel engine makes out the maximum power of 90 PS @ 4000 Rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm@1750 Rpm. Both the engines are commendable and make the MPV worth a buy. The production version was unveiled in the year 2012 and was on the roads in April last year. The car has been proved a bestselling MPV in Indonesia too.
