Ola Electric Motorcycles Inspired by Tesla?
This video comes from official YouTube channel of Ola Electric. The vlogger is at the event with the Ola electric bikes. Ola revealed 4 concept bikes – Cruiser, Roadster, Adventure and Diamondhead. The first three are based on the same platform, while the flagship Diamondhead is a completely different kind of beast. That is what is evidently the most futuristic. In fact, it reminds us of the Tesla Cybertruck instantly. The reasons for that are quite straightforward. It has a front cowl which gives us that feeling. Along with it, the sleek LED strip headlight at the front also looks cool.

Apart from that, there is also an electronic display which is concealed on this concept model, a tapered front section, a swingarm at the front, dual disc brakes at the front, single disc brake at the rear, monoshock suspension at the rear and an electric motor with a belt system. The other models are relatively more orthodox in their design. But that is not to say that they don’t look modern. In fact, all these electric bikes certainly represent the future of the Indian EV giant. The releases are slated for the end of 2024. Interestingly, Ola Electric is saying that these motorcycles will not just be for India but for the world.

What We Think
We are excited and thrilled about the revolution that the automobile industry promises in the immediate future. In fact, we are already in the process of that transformation. Players like Ola Electric are positioned perfectly to leverage their technological prowess and challenge the established legacy players. What is particularly impressive is its ambitious plans. On the back of its giant manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, Ola plans to sell its products not just in India, but worldwide. We shall have to wait a bit longer to see these bikes in the flesh and experience what they feel to ride.
