Ever since its launch, the lightweight off-roader has been selling like hotcakes. Moreover, the owners are also taking it to the aftermarket for some impressive modifications. This latest tuned Jimny is a prime example of that. Here are the details.

Stage 2 Tuned Maruti Jimny
This video comes from The Drivers Hub on YouTube. It captures an impressively tuned Jimny. We all know that Jimny comes with a rather regular 1.5-litre petrol engine. However, some find its performance a bit lacking. In most cases, it doesn’t matter because people don’t buy the Jimny for crazy 0-100 km/h acceleration sprints. It is meant for hardcore off-roading without burning a hole through your pocket. Nevertheless, there are some people who want some extra power and torque for spirited on and off-road performance.

The engine of this Jimny has 3 additional components – Headers & Exhaust, Stage 2 Tune and Snorkel. All these elements enhance the on and off-road capabilities of the lightweight off-roader. In fact, the host mentions that the power and torque figures are now a cool 120 hp and 155 Nm. In comparison, the Skoda Kushaq 1.0 offers 115 hp and 178 Nm, and weighs a lot more. Meanwhile, the 120 hp output is a significant bump which results in a peppy ride, especially around the city. What adds to the imposing road presence is the exhaust note. That are bangs and pops which are a trademark of supercars. All in all, these modifications have made this a rather unique SUV with dedicated performance-focused changes.
