There is no dearth of talent or enthusiasm among car owners regarding modifying their vehicles and this monster Toyota Innova is a prime example of that. Aftermarket modification in India has gone to a whole new level. The car shops have access to world-class spare parts and innovation to make any car look like just about anything else. In the last few years, people have had a huge inclination towards SUVs and off-roading adventures. That is why vehicles like Mahindra Thar and Maruti Jimny are doing so well in our country. But what if we take the most successful MPV in our market and modify it completely?

India’s First Monster Toyota Innova
This video comes from B CHOWW on YouTube. He gives the viewers an entire walk-around tour of this customised MPV. Almost every component of this vehicle has been transformed to make it look and behave like a proper monster truck. The first thing you would notice is the colossal 16-inch wheels with ginormous tyres. These are ultra-high-profile tyres specifically designed for thorough off-roading. In fact, they have raised the height of the vehicle so much that a dedicated footrest is installed for easier ingress and egress.

Then there are things like a completely modified suspension, tweaks to the steering rod, a proper lift kit to raise the vehicle significantly, a slew of auxiliary lights on the front bumper and even on the front tyres to achieve the cornering function, the entire length of the car has been reduced by cutting it from the middle and making it have just three doors. On the inside, the second row has been omitted and this Innova is now a 4-seater. Under the hood, the petrol engine has been replaced by a 3.0-litre turbodiesel to complete the Monster Truck appearance as well as mannerisms. Needless to say, there is a dedicated 4×4 system for ultra-hardcore off-roading scenarios.

What We Think
We must admit, that this is one of the most comprehensive modifications we have ever seen on a Toyota Innova. The modifiers have taken care of almost all aspects of this car. Also, it is not just an aesthetic overhaul but has practical usage as well. We would only like to warn our readers about the fact that such modifications are illegal in India. If you do this as a passion project, then it’s fine. However, if you have to take such vehicles on roads regularly, you might have trouble with the cops. Therefore, we recommend you relish such projects virtually and not get your own car modified in this manner. Having said that, if you live in a far-flung area where you need such cars, then you might even go ahead with it.
