Triumph Speed 400 Mileage Test
This video has been uploaded by Aayush ssm on YouTube. It showcases the vlogger riding the recently launched motorcycle in the streets of Maharashtra. He decides to do the mileage test using the tank-to-tank method. At the commencement of the journey, he fills the fuel tank up to the brim. He then sets the trip meter to 0 and starts his journey. He makes it a point not to ride in a particular way to maximise mileage but rather operate it as one would in his/her day-to-day life. That is neatly captured in the video as the road conditions are clearly visible.

One could also see that he traverses through the various traffic conditions including smooth highway runs, driving on the hills with twisties, as well as bumper-to-bumper traffic. And that is how most bike owners will use their vehicles on a daily basis. He specifically mentioned that there are a lot of sharp turns, upshifts and downshifts which could affect the overall mileage. At the end of his trip, he visits another petrol pump and fills the tank to the exact same level as before. After doing some basic mathematical calculations, the mileage came out to be just over 33 km/l. This is quite impressive.
