The TVS Apache RTR 310 is expected to launch very soon. It will be based on the 310cc platform which it shares with BMW RR310, BMW Motorrad G310R, and TVS Apache RR 310. The new naked version is likely to come with a more competitive price than its faired sibling. Recent spy shots have offered a decent look at the design of the upcoming bike. While it looks somewhat similar to the RTR motorcycles, the new motorcycle even borrows design elements from the Draken concept which was initially showcased in 2014. From the looks of it, the motorcycle was caught undergoing its ad shoot. This is a clear hint at an imminent launch.

TVS Apache RTR 310 to Lock Horns with KTM 250 Duke, 390 Duke and Honda CB300R
As you can see in the spy shots available so far, the TVS Apache RTR 310 gets some of the equipments from the Apache RR310. While the TVS Apache RR310 gets a vertically mounted instrumentation, the new bike features a horizontally positioned TFT screen. There might be some other minor changes. Additionally, the new bike will feature the TVS SmartXonnect connectivity suite as standard. It offers functions like ride details, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/ text management.
In terms of styling, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is expected to come with features like dominating front fascia, golden USD forks, all-LED lights, sleek split seats and upswept exhaust. It will also sport a sculpted fuel tank with shoulder fairing. Additionally, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is expected to get a customization option via the TVS Built To-Order platform. The new bike will compete with the likes of KTM 250 Duke, KTM 390 Duke, and Honda CB300R. TVS is likely to project the upcoming bike as one of the sportiest in its segment. It might also offer exclusive spicy colour themes.

Similar Specs to RR 310
The TVS Apache RTR 310 will feature a 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It will working in tandem with a 6-speed gearbox. The new bike might get the same riding modes as the RR310. It offers 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque in Sport and Track modes. However, in Urban and Rain modes, it offers 25.8 PS and 25 Nm. The new Roadster profile might come with some engine tweaks. Additional features will include a trellis frame, USD forks, mono-shock rear suspension, Dual-channel ABS, and Michelin Road 5 tyres. It will get 300 mm and 240 mm petal disc brakes on the front and the back.
