The global premiere of the Kia Seltos facelift took place today and the digital artists are already out with the innovative iterations.
This Performante trim of the Kia Seltos has been visualized by a prominent automobile artist. Seltos received its major facelift today and the pre-bookings are open from July 14, 2023, onwards. Seltos is one of the most prominent products in the mid-size SUV segment of our country. After the mighty Hyundai Creta, it has been the go-to choice for a whole bunch of car buyers. Now with the facelift version, the Korean auto giant aims to attract even more buyers. This will be done by offering tons of pampering features and a choice of multiple powertrains.

Kia Seltos Visualized in Performante Trim
This illustration comes from Bagrawala Designs on YouTube. The automobile artist has gone into vivid details. There is a colossal front profile with a sporty aerodynamic bumper. It features vertical LED fog lamps (borrowed from the regular SUV), sleek LED DRLs / LED turn indicators which are the new additions to the facelift model, an aggressive Tiger-nose grille design, matte finish (announced with the facelift mode), a front splitter to protect the underbelly from tiny pebbles on the road.

On the sides, the wide-body silhouette becomes apparent. There are massive fenders and wheel arches that extend out of the width of the vehicle, an attractive alloy wheel design, plenty of use of chrome on door handles, window frames, and a prominent side body cladding that gives it an elegant vibe. At the rear, one gets greeted by a massive roof spoiler, with LED taillamps that are joined together via an LED light bar which is a trend common among modern cars. Then there is also a sportscar-like rear diffuser with large exhausts on the sporty and rugged bumper. All in all, this is certainly a version of the Seltos that we could only experience in the virtual realm.

Specs
The 2023 Seltos facelift comes with three engine choices – 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo diesel and 1.5-litre turbo petro. These make 115 PS / 144 Nm, 115 PS / 250 Nm and 160 PS / 253 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. There are 5 transmission options including a manual, automatic, iMT (clutch-less manual), IVT (CVT) and DCT automatic. The prices will be announced closer to the launch. It is bound to increase competition in the segment and will give the buyers the option to go for this incredibly feature-packed SUV.
