This video has been uploaded by Thisisgabru on YouTube. In the previous part of this video, he showcased a 1-day-old Jimny being cut from the roof and rear section. In this video, he discusses with the Jimny owner and the man who will modify it why they did it. The owner tells that he was not satisfied with the capabilities of the stock Jimny at all. He took it off-roading but found the SUV lacking. Therefore, he decided to make a unique iteration of this Jimny that would cost around Rs 22 lakh, as per the information in the video.

The YouTuber, owner and modifier are tight-lipped about the details of the modifications that are planned for this Jimny. But all of them are certain that it has never been done on any Jimny ever. It indicates that they have something truly special in mind for this SUV. Also, since the budget of the modification is being touted to be around Rs 22 lakh and the fact that the owner decided to slice the SUV in half, means that they are sure of what exactly they envision with this SUV. We just have to wait for a while to know the specifics of this unique customization.

We understand that it is a big deal to allow such heavy modifications on your brand new car. In fact, if the entire vehicle has to be dismantled completely, it can’t be easy. But people do questionable things for their passion and this is a perfect example of that. However, we would like to highlight the fact that automotive companies do a lot of engineering on their vehicles. If such alterations are made to every aspect of the vehicle, it is bound to become weak. Also, the mechanical components of the SUV could also suffer in the long run. Therefore, we won’t recommend anyone to do this. But if it is your passion project, then you are free to do whatever you wish.
