Honda Brio has been the mass market car from Honda which actually catered to mass markets and car managed to get steady sales figures which Honda would be pleased to have. Also, the hatchback brings an automatic gearbox at a price point people can really afford it and before we forget, it offers a lot of variants from which you can choose. And now Honda plans on bringing in slightly new features to the the car to bring in more people into Honda showrooms.
Honda intends on bringing in more features on Honda Brio to the car and give it a slight refresh rather than altering the car’s mechanicals. We are not saying that the car is devoid of features as of now, but if there’s more on offer, why not have it. Brio is rumored to get a seat height adjustment which comes as a welcome change. The car has managed to have a fan following among the fairer sex in the country who are not quite tall.
Brio will get new upholstery to add to the premiumness on budget factor. The outside would not get any tweaks to the bumper but a rear wiper will be added to the car which was missed in the car. The changes will be made to the V MT trim, S(O) AT trim and the V AT trim. Makes sense to bring the changes to these variants as these are the ones customers actually end up buying de to the long list of accessories on offer.
Honda plans on bringing in the Amaze sedan in the country by April 2013 and that is the reason why the Brio would not be getting the changes in the cosmetic department. If they change the looks of the Brio, the Amaze would look a bit previous-generation and that is not something you would like to associate with a new car. For now, we have reports of alteration of the feature list and that is a welcome change. We would like it more if the changes could be offered as an optional accessory in the other variants as well.
