Maruti Jimny has finally made it to our markets after keeping us waiting for a long time.
In this bizarre case of testing the build quality, a man is seen shaking the Maruti Jimny with his bare hands. Jimny is a lightweight off-roader that has been a prominent product in the international markets for decades. In fact, India also got its share of the Jimny in its second-generation avatar which was called the Gypsy. It became an iconic product among the off-roading community in our market. With the aim of taking that legacy forward, the new Jimny has been launched in a 5-door guise. The largest carmaker in India wants to target a wider audience with this by offering a practical model.

Man Shaking Maruti Jimny
This incident has been recorded in a video by MRD Cars on YouTube. It captures some people checking out the Jimny at a dealership showroom. However, what is weird is the fact that they are shaking the parked SUV to ‘test’ its build quality. Unfortunately, such hilarious practices have become quite common these days. Mostly, these are done by YouTubers in the name of content. Just by pressing the body panels and shaking the SUV, they pretend to judge the build quality of any car. Needless to say, this is absurd. Only proper NCAP testing is the right way to ascertain the safety prowess of any car.
