We must admit Ola has been struggling to get the owners’ appreciation for a while now as we report yet another dissatisfied S1 buyer.
Here is the latest case of an Ola S1 EV owner expressing his dissatisfaction with the electric scooter. Ola is a prominent player when it comes to electric bikes in India. Ever since it launched the S1 series, it has been a mixed bag when it comes to the product. While some buyers are extremely impressed by what the EV can do in terms of features, range and performance, others are not so pleased with the ownership and quality. We know that there could be issues with every machine in the world, but S1 owners have been reporting these for a while now.

Ola S1 EV Owner Frustrated
This post has been shared by rushlane on Instagram. There is an image of an Ola S1 owner. He is sitting on his bike. What is particularly interesting about it is what he has written on the front panel. It says, “Le Mat Lena” in Hindi. This translates to “Don’t Buy It” in English. As per the information in the post, this man is from Madhya Pradesh, India. He is struggling with recurring issues in his electric scooter and the company is unable to sort things out for him. Left with no other option, he decides to publicly announce his irritation and anger.

What We Think
There have been issues of broken suspension and rattling noises with many other Ola owners in the past. Ola has even replaced these on many occasions. However, the fact that these are still prevailing despite the company assuring multiple times that they have fixed this is a huge cause for concern. Ola had a first-mover advantage, of sorts. But if its image keeps getting stained like this, it is only a matter of time before legacy two-wheeler manufacturers catch up as they already have the customer’s trust. We hope that Ola fixes this as soon as possible so that people buy its products with confidence.
