Brezza is a 4-star safety-rated compact SUV that is one of the highest-selling products in its segment. It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet. It was recently updated by Maruti to keep it fresh and exciting for the customers amidst stiff competition. Maruti Brezza Crash To Claim Insurance
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate scenarios and road safety. This time around, a strange case has emerged where a Maruti Brezza is seen deliberately hitting a tree. As per the information in the video, this Brezza had a minor dent on its bumper. However, that might not have been enough the get the insurance claim. Resultantly, its owner decided to hit a tree with it to create more damage at the front so that it looks like a serious accident.

After the crash, the front section of the compact SUV is visible. The bonnet, bumper, radiator grille, headlamps and fenders are seen damaged. However, since the speed was controlled, the impact is not severe. But one could easily be misled to think that it is a proper crash. With this, the driver was able to claim the insurance. In the subsequent part of the video, the same Brezza is seen in perfect condition. The YouTuber mentions that this is after the insurance claim was awarded. The owner fixed the SUV and it looks new.

We understand that claiming insurance can be a complicated process. Insurance companies often make the process so confusing and hard that it becomes challenging for people to pursue it. But there are always cases like these where the claimants end up adopting foul practices in order to ensure that their claim is not rejected. We wouldn’t recommend anyone to try such methods for multiple reasons. First of all, while trying to ‘accidentally’ cause a crash, one might easily get involved or injured if things go out of hand. Secondly, there are chances that the company will find out about the trick and reject the entire claim. In that case, the owner will have to pay for the entire damage from his/her own pocket which could be a huge amount. Therefore, you must stay away from such cases.
