Maruti Jimny is barely a month old and people have commenced slapping imported hardcore off-roading kits on it to enhance its capabilities even further.
The SUV you seen on this page is India’s first ever Maruti Jimny that has an Ironman Kit installed on it. The mod parts have specifically been imported from Australia. Jimny is the latest entrant into the Indian market and the reception from the buyers has been mind-boggling. It is officially the most affordable 4×4 SUV in the country. Note that while the Indians are experiencing the Jimny for the first time ever, it has been available in the international market for decades. This is the 4th-gen model and we had a derivativee of the 2nd-gen model in the form of Gypsy. Hence, Maruti is not new to making lightweight off-roading SUVs at all.

Note that if you decide to lift your vehicle, you can’t just simply install bigger tyres. There are a bunch of other things that you must do in order to ensure that the larger wheels don’t impact the performance of the car in the long run. Hence, appropriate adjustments are needed to be made to the suspension system, steering mechanism, damping, headlight height adjustment and all such components to behave normally and not get affected by the stark rise in height. Another reason for doing all this is to compensate for the added weight due to the colossal oversized wheels. That is what this Ironman Kit does.
