Tata motors known for manufacturing the world’s cheapest car Tata Nano has once again opened the bookings for it but the conditions prevailing are in favor of the customers ready to buy it since the company is making the car available for test drive and is also accepting “on the spot” bookings.
The bookings have been reopened in four major states which are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Karnataka while for Kerela the bookings started back in August. Initially when the car was launched Tata restricted the booking numbers to 155,000 which were selected through a computerized draw and did not accept any booking approach.
During July the company announced of increasing the production of Nano as its Sanand Plant in Gujarat became operational ahead of the scheduled date. Nano has even faced the price hike problem and increased the price of this car by Rs.30,000 making the on-road price comparable to the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
Now that the car has went on sale in four states we expect the company to avail them in other states as well since we guess all the Common Men are eagerly waiting for it.
