Careless drivers are often spotted on Indian roads creating safety issues not just for themselves, but for everyone around.
In a recent case, actress Rubina Dilaik was involved in a crash where her MG Gloster was hit by a Tata Yodha. Rubina is an established and popular celebrity who has done numerous TV shows. This includes Choti Bahu, Jeannie Aur Juju, Punar Vivah and Shakti. However, her notable shot to fame moment was when she won Bigg Boss 14. It is one of the most popular reality TV shows on television with a large audience base. She participated in the show along with her actor-husband Abhinav Shukla. They both took to Twitter to update their followers about their safety after the recent crash. Here are the details.

Rubina Dilaik’s MG Gloster Hit by Tata Yodha
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents as well as road safety. This time around, a case has emerged where the popular actress met with an accident. As per her Twitter post, her MG Gloster was hit from behind by a Tata Yodha being driven by someone who was on his phone. This caused minor injuries to her head and back and she has been admitted to a hospital. Rubina and Abhinav have lodged a complaint against the careless driver.

Rubina posted on Twitter, “Due to the impact I hit my head and lower back, so was in a state of shock, but we ran medical tests, everything is Good….Legal action has been taken against the reckless truck driver, but the damage is done! I urge you all to be mindful on road 🙏🏼 Rules r for our own safety !” Abhinav’s Twitter post read, “Happened to us, can happen to you. Beware of idiots on the phone jumping traffic lights. To top it up standing there smiling. More details later. Rubina was in the car she is fine, taking her for medical. @MTPHereToHelp @MumbaiPolice request you to take strict action! @RubiDilaik.”

What We Think
Unfortunately, the cases of such careless drivers are rather common. We lose thousands of lives each year in road crashes. Most of these accidents are a direct consequence of neglecting traffic rules and overspeeding. It is high time we start acknowledging this and start following these safety regulations. Moreover, we must ensure that everyone around us does the same so that our roads become safer than they are at the moment. Finally, if you see someone breaking the rules, you should report them to the authorities by making a video.
