Mahindra and Mahindra has released one of its kind mobile applications for its popular SUV Mahindra XUV500. The mobile application is called Blue Sense and allows you to control the infotainment system of the car using your mobile phone. This app works with the W8 model which has in-built Bluetooth integration and works on Android phones.
Apart from controlling the infotainment system, this application brings all the important vehicle information on your phone screen like the tyre pressure, climate control settings, fuel levels, door open warning, maintenance information, distance to empty etc. This is one of the kind application using which you can use your phone as a remote control to change the music tracks, tune into radio stations, change audio source etc.
Mahindra has sold over 40,000 XUV500 in India since its launch and releasing an application for mobile phones comes as a free gift to the owners. The application is free to download and and can be downloaded from here. In India, the XUV has more than 50% share in its segment and is one of the most preferred choices in its price segment because of its strong performance and high value for money proposition. Not only in India, but the SUV is also sold in Australia, South Africa and Italy where it is also seen as one of the most value for money products in the price category.
This app also gives you warning related to tyre temperature, tyre pressure, DTE, Park lamp, Service due and even for worn our brake pads. You can add reminders like insurance renewal, PUC renewals and service schedules. You can also save your personal and contact information in this application.
