The Z4 also misses out on LED turn indicators, DRLs, and fog lamps. It comes with simple halogen units. On the other hand, the Z8 L version gets projector LED units, LED DRLs, turn indicators, and LED fog lamps. While the Z4 has silver accents on the front grille, the Z8 L variant has a chrome finish. Both SUVs come with electrically adjustable ORVMs. However, they can only be electrically folded in the Z8 model. While the Z4 has 17-inch steel rims, the Z8 L has 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Both variants feature a rear windscreen wiper and defogger, rear parking sensors, front-facing third-row seats, and black and brown dual-tone interiors. While the Z8 L variant comes with leather upholstery, the Z4 version features fabric. Unlike hard plastic, the Z8 L variant gets soft touch material on the door and dashboard. Additional features on the Z8 L include dual-zone climate control, a push button, LED turn indicators, a silver skid plate with chrome accents on the rear bumper, a leather wrap steering wheel, and power window panels with a gloss black finish.
