New Hyundai i20 Updates
In terms of styling, the new Hyundai i20 has received multiple small changes to give a more contemporary modern look. For example, the grille has been slimmed down and the lower bumper has been tweaked. On the back, the company has tweaked the bumper and added unique Z-shaped LED tail lights. Additionally, the new update comes with new alloy wheel designs, from 16 inches and to 17 inches. You can also choose from a new selection of colors including lime green.
While the cabin design is still the same, Hyundai has updated the technology. Hyundai i20 now comes with an improved 4.2-inch screen in the gauge cluster as standard. Customers can also opt for the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is still an option. The premium hatchback also gets a Bose premium audio system. Overall, the new changes work for the compact car.

The new Hyundai i20 comes with 1.0-liter turbocharged engines that offer 100hp and 120hp of power, respectively. It can be paired with either a seven-speed automatic gearbox or a six-speed “Intelligent Manual Transmission”. In India, the Hyundai i20 comes with the same powertrain options – a 1.2-liter petrol engine (83PS/ 114Nm) and a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine (120PS/ 172Nm). While the petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual and CVT transmission options, the turbo-petrol gets a 7-speed DCT. Safety features on the car include up to six airbags, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and electronic stability control (ESC). It also comes with an air purifier, auto LED headlights, and a sunroof.
