The Jeep Compass is a preferred SUV for many Bollywood celebrities. Rhea Chakraborty was seen in a Magnesio Grey version of Jeep Compass.

The Jeep Compass SUV is one of the best-selling SUVs across the world. In India, it comes in a right-hand drive version. The local units are manufactured off Pune at the company’s Ranjangaon factory. The Jeep Compass comes with a price range from Rs 21.09 lakh to Rs 31.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Club Edition of the premium SUV is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). You can choose from two engine options. However, the diesel variants are more popular.

Jeep Compass Specs
The petrol-powered version of the Jeep Compass is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that offers 158 Bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. It is only available in a front-wheel drive guise. You can choose from a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed, twin-clutch automatic gearbox options for transmission. On the other hand, the 2 liter-4 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine outputs 170 Bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, you can choose from front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive layouts.
The top-of-the-line TrailHawk version of Jeep Compass Diesel will get a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox later this year. Bookings are yet to open at Jeep dealers across India. The Jeep Compass TrailHawk comes with a starting price of over Rs 25 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. It comes with an all-wheel drive system. For off-roading, the company has added sand and rock modes. Additionally, it will come with a revised suspension and new interiors.

The Jeep Compass has many features, like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, an auto AC, a 360-degree camera, a powered tailgate, and wireless phone charging. Safety features on the SUV include ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rollover mitigation, hill assist, and a reverse parking camera.
