Shark Ashneer Grover reveals that he had once won a bike worth Rs 12 lakh in a lucky draw but his wife asked him to get the LCD TV instead. Ashneer has been going on many podcasts lately. After having issues at BharatPe, the company he co-founded, he has gone on to become an author while becoming a part of many interviews and podcasts on social media. Ashneer Grover Won Rs 12 Lakh Bike in Lucky Draw
This podcast of Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol has been gaining popularity in recent times. The duo have had some pretty prominent guests allowing the audience to get to know about the personal lives of their beloved celebrities. On this occasion, they interviewed Ashneer Grover and his wife, Madhuri. They opened up about their lives prior to becoming the successful businessman that he is today. They moved to Mumbai from Delhi after marriage years ago.

The reason was to live closer to their office. Mumbai being Mumbai, they could only manage to find a 1 BHK apartment with a rent of Rs 16,000. They honestly discuss how they managed to survive on Rs 48,000 salary. It looks like they managed their finances quite well as they were able to even go out to movies, go to fine-dining restaurants and travel abroad. Ashneer mentions that he was once the lucky winner of a draw where he won a Rs 12 lakh motorbike. When he told his wife, she asked what are the other prizes.

She asked him to get an LCD TV instead. At the time, the duo was investing their salaries in buying one piece of furniture each month. Hence, having an LCD TV was a practical and thoughtful choice. Also, when they were going through tough times, letting Ashneer drive a Rs 12 lakh bike didn’t seem all that practical or necessary. This represents their financial smartness even back then which is why he is one of the biggest businessmen in the country.
