Toyota Fortuner Accident, Airbags Didn’t Open
The video has been uploaded by Raftaar 7811 on YouTube. As per the information in the video, this crash has been reported from the Mumbai-Gujarat expressway. The details of how this happened are not available. But it must clearly be a high-speed collision looking at the condition of the SUV. The entire side section has been reduced to nothing. The narrator of the video mentions that the SUV toppled over multiple times before coming to a halt.

That caused a lot of damage to the side profile. Looking closely, one observes that while the side section is totalled, there doesn’t seem to be a direct collision with the front fascia. That is where the sensors are positioned, which could explain why the airbags weren’t deployed. Talking about the disappearance of the side panels, it looks like they had to be removed using metal cutters to get the passengers out. Interestingly, no one got seriously injured, which is a testament to the build quality of the SUV.
