In a proud moment for Indians, a Mahindra Scorpio N owner has planned to do a trip from Delhi to London. Scorpio is a name that invokes a sense of confidence and reliability when it comes to rugged adventures. It has been doing that in our market for a long time now. Mahindra, as a carmaker understands the sensibilities of Indian conditions which is why it manufactures tough products. The expertise also comes from its rich background in developing agricultural machinery and equipment. That inspired confidence in this Scorpio N owner to take it on a semi-world tour.

Mahindra Scorpio N from Delhi to London

During the course of this trip, the Scorpio N owner is taking along his friend and the duo will cover over 23 countries, more than 20,000 km in around 105 days. These are tentative figures since there can be numerous changes to this plan depending on the road and other conditions.

The local laws also come into play since the vehicle will pass through two large regions – the Middle East and Europe. They will start the road trip from Delhi and will drive down to Mumbai. From Mumbai, they will ship their SUV via cargo and take flight themselves to Iran. From Iran, the actual road trip will commence. Thereafter, they will have to drive across varied topographies, countries, weather conditions, etc to enter Europe. The Schengen Visa has been granted for 30 days and the duo will decide which countries they will visit.

Finally, after reaching France, they will have to take a 2-hour ferry across the famous English Channel to reach London. As a part of the preparations, the duo has decided to carry a few spare parts in case they run into some undesirable situations since there won’t be Mahindra service centres at all parts of the journey. This includes wipers, ORVMs, clutch plate, etc. Additionally, they will remove the third row to liberate room for their luggage. Also, they have installed a proper mechanism which will make a proper bed for them to sleep during the nights. All this will be documented on the YouTube channel of the Scorpio N owner.
