Maruti Suzuki has got a bad reputation when it comes to build quality or safety ratings even when its products perform well in certain unfortunate incidents.
In a shocking turn of events, a Maruti Dzire was involved in a severe crash, but it saved the driver. Dzire is the most popular compact sedan in the country by a mile. It has been a great product in our market for years now. In fact, its high fuel efficiency and low running and maintenance costs have attracted tons of fleet operators as well, making it one of the most successful vehicles in the commercial space. But some people refuse to acknowledge the good and focus on complaining instead.

Maruti Dzire Saves Driver in Massive Crash
This information was shared by one Puneet Sharma on Twitter. His post reads, “(WANNA DIE,BUY MARUTI CARS)wanna file case against Maruti n regret dt I bought Suzuki Dezire(UP14DZ9308),met vd a fatal accident 6 days bk,God saved my life,I wud hv died as car is very fragile n security features didn’t work even after totally brkn dn.” This has been Tweeted in reference to the crash that the owner experienced. The visuals show a lot of damage to the vehicle. Also, even though the driver calls it a ‘fatal’ crash, he has clearly lived to tell the tale.
While Dzire has not scored very well in the G-NCAP tests, its performance, in this case, was remarkable. However, the driver cannot recognize that the car was able to safeguard him in this terrible-looking event. Instead, he is ranting about the fact that the car’s build quality is poor. Looking at the video, it seems that there was no head-on collision, which could be why the airbags weren’t deployed. Also, we are not sure if the driver was wearing a seatbelt, which is another factor on which the deployment of airbags depends.

All in all, the damage to the sedan is quite significant. This bonnet is heavily damaged, the headlights are broken, the front windshield is shattered, and the side profile, including the body panels and fender, have sustained severe deformation. We think the driver should appreciate that he could walk out of this crash alive.
