A new picture of the Ferrari F430 supercar is going viral now. It shows the super-expensive car getting repainted at a local garage.
Exotic car spottings are becoming increasingly common on Indian roads. However, these expensive cars are equally expensive to maintain. Many such units end up in dump yards or even roadside. While finding alternatives to spare parts for such cars is difficult, one tends to not give up easily. We have spotted several cars getting hacked fixes by roadside mechanics. A new picture of a Ferrari supercar being painted at a local workshop is going viral. It shows a Ferrari F430 getting repainted out in the open with no paint booth in site.

Workshop Belongs to Ferrari Owner’s Brother
As you can see in the above image on the ‘Car Crazy India’ Instagram page, a Ferrari F430 unit is getting a new paint job. However, it is not parked at an authorized dealership. Instead, the expensive supercar is housed at a local garage and a man is working on the body. The original paint has been sanded off, and the car has a matte finish. A thin coat of putty covers the bonnet, bumper, rear fender, and doors. This is done to get the desired shape. Once the putty is applied, excess putty is removed to give the surface an even finish.

The Red Ferrari F430 seems to have several scratches or dents on the body panels. The image caption also hints at wear and tear damage. “When you wanna keep the Ferrari up and running at any cost, Ferrari F430 getting repainted at a Garage. Hoping they will do a good job. Thanks to an anonymous birdie for the pic” it states. It is quite likely that the supercar ran into something. The windshield, headlights, and windows are completely covered. Also, the rear of the sports car is not seen. However, a look at the post’s comments section reveals the owner’s identity. He says: “Bhai it’s my car and my brother’s garage.” So, with this, it’s clear that the owner hasn’t trusted his car with just about anyone. In all probability, he has complete faith in his relative and trusts him to do a good job.

Would Cost a Fraction
While the location has been hidden, you can spot other Indian models in the background. The workshop also works on cars like a Mahindra Jeep, Maruti WagonR, and more. Previously, cars like an Audi R8 supercar and a Bentley Bentayga luxury SUV have been spotted getting a repaint job at local workshops. While the paintwork quality might not be the best, the cost would be in the thousands only. Similar work at an authorized service center would cost lakhs. We hope the customer gets the desired result after repainting.
