It is quite hilarious sometimes when people preach things that they themselves don’t follow and this is a prime example of it.
In the latest incident, young actress Alaya F lambasts traffic violators while not wearing the seatbelt herself. Alaya Furniturewala is a famous actress who has become quite prominent due to her impressive work even at this young age. Born in 1997, she is the daughter of the prominent actress, television talk show host and newspaper columnist Pooja Bedi. Alaya comes from a lineage of actors as her grandfather is Kabir Bedi, a veteran Indian actor. Alaya won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her film Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020 after which she starred in a thriller called Freddy (2022).

Alaya F Flaks Traffic Violators But Forgets to Wear Seatbelt Herself
This post has been shared by her on her official Instagram handle. She is in her car and points out traffic rules breakers on the roads. The caption of this post reads, “I just can’t stand rule breakers. Please follow the rules and stay safe.” Now, this is a great message coming from someone who has over 1.5 million followers on Instagram alone. She locates multiple bikers making illegal U-turns on the road. She highlights that she is frustrated to witness people not following the traffic regulations.

Furthermore, she states that most accidents happen on the roads because people just don’t follow the traffic rules. People don’t always use common sense or driving sense which makes Indian roads some of the most dreaded in the world. The only issue with this video clip, which a lot of users point out, is the fact that she is not wearing the seatbelt herself. Now, while it may not be strictly enforced in the country, seatbelts for rear passengers are actually compulsory.

Road Safety
She rightly pointed out that there are so many road accidents in our country due to the carelessness of people by disregarding traffic regulations. Therefore, it is time that we start following these rules under all circumstances come what may. Also, we must encourage everyone around us to do the same so that our roads can become safer than they are. Such celebrities raising their voices regarding road safety is only a positive thing in the larger scheme of things.
