Ford fans are found in this video trying to import the new Endeavour (called Everest in international markets) to India. Endeavour is a name that has ruled the hearts of SUV lovers in India for years. It was one of the most popular SUVs in our market in its segment ever. With such an ardent fan following, it is no wonder that they are trying innovative methods to get their hands on the latest version of the SUV and drive it in India. Fan Tries to Import New Ford Endeavour
The video has been uploaded by Raviboken9007 vlogs on YouTube. The YouTuber is visiting a Ford dealership in Thailand. They check out the new Endeavour (Everest). They are in awe of the SUV as they take it out on the test drive. Also, they are thoroughly impressed by the interior. They don’t share too many thoughts about actual driving experience as they were driving within the city where speed limits are in place, and they cannot experience the full scope of what the SUV can achieve.

On the inside, the cabin layout and features are premium and upmarket, especially compared to the model sold in India. There is a colossal portrait-styled touchscreen for the infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, large storage spaces, connectivity features, spacious interior, rugged built, premium material and more. One feels the difference while upgrading from the old model.

The Ford Endeavour (Everest) in Thailand comes powered by 2 engines – a 2.0-liter turbo and a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel. The former outputs 170 PS / 405 Nm while the latter is good for 210 PS / 500 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. There are options of either a 6-speed MT (with the single turbo engine) or a 10-speed AT (with the twin-turbo engine). The one that the YouTubers are driving is a 4×2 while there is a 4×4 on offer too. When converted to INR, this model cost around Rs 35 lakh but the dealership staff refuses to deliver it to India. In general, the import taxes range from 60% to 100% essentially doubling that price if you want to import it to India. It’s been over a couple of months since the vlogger checked out the latest Endy in the Thailand. However, there’s been no news on its import. The vlogger has given no update on his plans of importing the SUV. We believe he might have given up on his plan to import the SUV owing to the complexities involved.
