Maruti Jimny vs Mahindra Thar vs Force Gurkha Dimensions Compared
As you can see in the YouTube video by ‘tripaccino’, there is a significant difference between the accurate size of the entry-level models of the Maruti Jimny, Mahindra Thar, and Force Gurkha. While the Force Gurkha is the longest, the Mahindra Thar has the longer wheelbase. However, the Jimny has the longest wheelbase of them all. The off-roader SUV will come with Suzuki’s AllGrip four-wheel-drive system as standard and a 210 mm ground clearance. It seems like a compelling option in the small car segment.

With a height of 1720mm and a width of 1645mm, the Maruti Jimny is a tall but narrow car. In terms of ratio, it is similar to the Gurkha. The Force Gurkha comes with a height of 2250 mm and a width of 1812 mm. On the other hand, the Mahindra Thar is wider than its height. It has a height of 1844 mm and a width of 1855 mm. Maruti Jimny Launch in April 2023
Currently, the Jeep Wrangler is the best off-road vehicle in the Indian market. Additionally, the 30-40 lakh segment is filled with off-roading pickup trucks like the Isuzu Isuzu D-Max V Cross and Toyota Hilux. The five-door versions of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Mahindra Thar, and Force Gurkha are needed to fill a gap in the market. Finally, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is bringing a 5-door version of Jimny to India. It is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 10 lakhs (ex-showroom). The fully-fledged off-roader will be launched towards the end of April 2023.
