We have found the reason why Mukesh Ambani’s Rolls Royce Cullinan doesn’t have a sunroof. Sunroof is a feature that almost all cars have today, apart from the absolute entry-level vehicles. Hence, not having a sunroof in one of the most expensive cars in the world is a bit odd. Nevertheless, if it is the case, we were curious to find the exact reason why it is so. Also, the Ambani family has a lot of models of Rolls Royce and other luxury cars and we don’t think that all of them are devoid of sunroofs.

Mukesh Ambani’s Rolls Royce Cullinan has no Sunroof

However, looking closely, one can observe that there is no sunroof on the luxury SUV. It must be some event that he is attending as people are pouring flowers on the SUV and the driver has to use the wipers to clean them off. But what could be the reason that there is no sunroof in a Rs 13 Crore car? Here’s what we found.

You would know that there are a gazillion customization options on any Rolls Royce on their official website. The idea is to make people have their unique versions. If you visit the website and select the sunroof option, you will have to let go of the starlight roof that is a prominent trademark of Rolls Royce cars. The inside of the roof has thousands of lights to make it look like the stars in the night sky. Therefore, you only get one of these two configurations. That could be the reason why we don’t see a sunroof in Mukesh’s Cullinan.

Rolls Royce Cullinan comes powered by a 6.75-litre turbocharged V12 petrol engine that makes a colossal 563 hp and 850 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by an automatic gearbox enabling the luxury SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 secs despite being a heavy SUV. The top speed is rated 250 km/h. While the ex-showroom prices start at a cool Rs 7 Crore, the one that Mukesh Ambani has, cost him around Rs 13 Crore with all the customizations. In fact, the paint job alone cost him a whopping Rs 1 Crore.
