Maruti Baleno has not yet been crash tested by the Global NCAP but it has shown promising results in multiple unfortunate scenarios.
In the latest incident, a Maruti Baleno crashes at 100 km/h but managed to keep all safe. Baleno is the highest-selling premium hatchback in the country by a mile. It has consistently featured on the list of highest-selling cars in the country for a long time now. in its latest iteration, Maruti has equipped the Baleno with a ton of segment-first features making the entire proposition more attractive to potential buyers. However, a Global NCAP test result is still missing. Let us take a look at this latest crash.

Maruti Baleno Crashes at 100 km/h
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around performances of popular cars in unfortunate incidents as well as road safety. This time around, an accident of an over-speeding Baleno has been reported. It was a high-speed accident where the vehicle flew off the road and ended up hitting a barricade of a house. As per the information in the video, there were young people in the car. They were travelling at around 100 km/h when the speed limit was just 60 km/h.

The driver lost control and the vehicle ended up skidding off the sand on the road and jumping sewer. In fact, the speed was so high that it only came to a halt after hitting the barricade of a house. Talking about the damage to the passengers, the driver suffered minor injuries and was shifted to the hospital timely where he is being treated. All the other passengers escaped without any serious injuries or the need to go to the hospital. This is a testament to the build quality of the premium hatchback.
