Honda has launched the facelifted version of the popular City model. It comes with a price tag of Rs 11.49 lakh.
Honda City is one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. Now, the company has launched a new version of the fifth-generation model. It comes with several cosmetic changes and more features. Honda has also added new entry-level variants. There is also a new shade to choose from. The new Honda City facelift comes with a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh. On the other hand, the top-end City Hybrid variant can go as high as Rs 20.39 lakh.

The 2023 Honda City facelift is now available for booking online at a starting price of Rs 5,000. You can also book a new Honda City from a dealership at Rs 21,000. It comes in three powertrain options – Petrol Manual, Petrol Auto, and Petrol Hybrid. You can choose from four trims – SV, V, VX, and ZX. The company is offering two color options for the petrol variants – Beige and Black. On the other hand, the hybrid variants will be available in Ivory and Black themes.

Honda City Facelift Design
The new Honda City gets a new slimmer chrome bar at the front. While the lower-end variants get vertical slats, the front grille on the top-end variants comes with a new honeycomb pattern. The company has retained the same nine LED arrays as before. On the side, the design of the alloy wheels has been updated for the low-end variants. You will also see a change in the position of the reflectors at the back. Honda has not made any real changes to the cabin. The layout and the upholstery remain the same. The switchgear is also identical. The new model is available in Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Mettalic, Golden Brown Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl (New), Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Radiant Red Metallic.

While Honda has now discontinued the Diesel engine, the petrol engine is the same as before. The Honda City facelift is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated engine. It can be paired with a manual or a CVT transmission. The new SV trim will only come with a manual transmission. The hybrid variant is powered by a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine that is paired to an eCVT. Additionally, the company has added ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane keeps assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
