Tata Intra Carrying Elephant
The video clip has been shared by the mallutalks000 channel on YouTube. It captures a real-life video of a Tata Intra minitruck transporting an elephant. However, we must know that this is very dangerous for a variety of reasons. Firstly, the payload capacity of the minitruck is just 1,300 kg while the elephant weighs over 4,000 kg. That is a huge overload as Intra is carrying over 3 times its payload capacity. It must be noted that the mechanicals are not designed to sustain such high loads.

Secondly, transporting an animal in this small truck is perilous not just for the driver and this truck, but also for other road commuters. That is because the animal has not been tied properly. Since it is standing, a sudden cornering manoeuvre can throw it off-balance and it could fall very easily. If that happens, the animal will invariably be hurt, but it could fall on a two-wheeler or in front of other cars as well. Sudden reflexes would cause them to lose control and they could end up colliding with other cars on the road too.
