RDE-compliant Engine
The Indian government is continuing the reform for vehicles on Indian roads. RDE is essentially the second stage of the BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) norms. It stands for real-time driving emissions. An RDE-compliant engine is aimed to make the car tailpipe emissions even cleaner and increase the better fuel efficiency. There are already multiple cars in the market with RDE-compliant versions. This includes the like of Brezza, Tata Punch mini-SUV, Honda Amaze compact sedan, and Hyundai Creta compact SUV. All these models have received minor hikes.
