Design
The Hyundai VERNA has always donned an avant-garde look with world-class design themes. In its new iteration, the sedan benefits from the carmaker’s globally successful Sensuous Sportiness philosophy that makes it look completely future-proof. A major highlight of the space-age look is the full-width LED strip that runs along the width of the facade, thereby culminating into LED DRLs on either side. That apart, the colossal Parametric Grille on the sedan lends the front fascia an imposing road presence while the chrome bits add just the right amount of bling to it. A look at the side profile reveals crisp and sharp creases that form the characteristics of this the all-new Hyundai VERNA, while the diamond cut alloy wheels are another highlight of the styling package. Finally, the coupe-ish roofline gives the car a typically ‘Fastback’ silhouette.
The third-quarter looks particularly unique with the low-slung roofline and a visual texture on the C-pillars. The tail end features a tailgate-integrated spoiler that accentuates the performance aspect of the sedan. The LED taillamps are also connected via a light strip which is a common modern trait in premium cars. A sporty bumper rounds up the exterior design. Further boosting the street credit are the segment-best dimensions. With a wheelbase of 2,670 mm and a width of 1,765 mm, the VERNA is now bigger than ever!

Interior and Features
Of course, the large dimensions translate into a spacious cabin with great legroom, knee room and shoulder room in both the rows. The practicality quotient of the interior is further enhanced by several utility spaces, such as a phone holder and bottle holders, strewn across the cabin. Meanwhile, the boot space, at 528-litre, is the best in its class. Lending a rich ambiance is the premium leather upholstery and the soft touch dashboard panels.
While the full details of the interior have not been revealed yet, let’s not forget about Hyundai’s knack for pushing the envelope with several segment-firsts and best-in-class features in all its models. Lest we forget, the the all-new Hyundai VERNA will be the only car in its class to offer ADAS safety features in the form of Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Autonomous Emergency Braking.. Other known features include a large-size touchscreen infotainment system, cooled glovebox and modern connectivity features. Hyundai is also working tirelessly toward equipping its products with the best safety kit out there and there is no reason to believe that it won’t do it with the new VERNA.
