The official trailer for the 10th instalment of the Fast & Furious franchisee was released on February 10. Fast X will have its theatrical debut on 19 May 2023
The first official trailer for the long-stored final Fast & Furious instalment from Universal has finally been released. Featuring crazy action and family drama, Vin Diesel’s blockbuster series has been expanded. The film’s trailer debuts the timeline a few months ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on 19 May 2023, the first of a two-film run for the Fast X series.

First Look at Fast X
After commencing the filming in April 2022, the first look of Fast X was officially released on February 10, 2023, which introduces us to the story of the film. The nearly 4-minute-long trailer introduces several new characters, including Jason Momoa’s villainous Dante, who happens to be the son of Hernan Reyes. It will reveal the backstory of Dom Toretto, the protagonist of the Fast and Furious series, played once again by Vin Diesel. The trailer also revealed that John Cena’s Jacob Toretto, who was the main villain in the previous entry, will now be teaming up with his former estranged brother Dom.
Other newcomers to the series on the Toretto family include Hollywood legend Rita Moreno as Dom’s grandmother and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad). Other cast members in the film include Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Kurt Russell and Anna Savoy are included. In further casting news, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson has officially been cast as Tess, a rogue representative from the agency. Alan Richson, star of Amazon Prime Video’s Reacher series, has been cast as Aimes, the new head of the agency. Leo Abello Perry, who starred in last year’s reboot of the Dozen on Disney+, and Brian Marcos have joined the cast as Dom’s son. We will also see The Rock in the final instalment.

From the Director of Tokyo Drift
The film was directed by Justin Lin, who directed films such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast and Furious 6 as well as F9. However, the director left the project after he had a disagreement with Vin Diesel. As per the latest reports, a French filmmaker, Louis Leterrier, had replaced Lin as the director of Fast X. Leterrier is best known for his work on films such as The Transporter, The Transporter 2, and The Incredible Hulk. Fast X is all set to hit the theatres on 19th May 2023.
