Bharti Airtel who is one of the leading telecommunications company and also the title sponsor of 2012 Formula One Airtel Indian Grand Prix, has now entered into a race partnership with with MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS team for the upcoming 2012 season.
After signing the alliance agreement, Airtel now has access to MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS team along with rights to develop co-branded merchandise. Not only that, Airtel can also use the race partnership logo, offer related mobile content and also promote itself by putting up contests wherein the winner will get to meet the Mercedes AMG Petronas team drivers.
Airtel branding will feature on the airbox and headrest of the Formula One W03 car and on the race helmets of Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.

Announcing the association, Bharat Bambawale (Global Brand Director, Bharti Airtel) said,
