In April 2012, Tata Motors announced that it will conduct special off-roading events for Tata SUV owners across India. Keeping its promise, Tata Motors will be conducting a special 2 days off-roading experience filled with thrill and excitement for the Tata Motors SUV owners in Delhi and NCR region on 28th and 29th of July 2012. Tata Motors has just concluded similar events at Chandigarh and Ludhiana. The NCR trail will see participation from over 60 Tata SUV owners and will be flagged of from Tivoli Garden in Chhatarpur in New Delhi. It will then proceed to Pali Village near Faridabad in Haryana.
During the course of this event, drivers will face some of the most thrilling and challenging terrains like slush beds, hills, sand beds, rough soil, mud and lot more. To conduct this event, Cougar Motorsports has been signed as the program partner for the execution of these trails. Tata Motors will conduct a total of 21 such trails across India in coming months to engage SUV customers and also showcase the capability of these sports utility vehicles which are rarely used to their full potential.
During these trails, there are special customized tracks designed for various skill levels of the delivers and these tracks are maneuvered in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations to showcase the capability and utility of an all wheel drive vehicle.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ashesh Dhar, Head Utility Vehicles, Tata Motors said,
“With off-roading gaining popularity and due to the lack of off-roading tracks, Full Throttle Trails will give enthusiasts an opportunity to not only experience the thrill, ruggedness and toughness of their Tata Motors SUVs, but to also familiarize themselves with some serious off-road driving techniques in a planned and safe manner. Besides, Full Throttle Trails also offers customers a quick weekend get away in the proximity of their respective cities.”
Apart from the Full Throttle Trails, Tata Motors is also conducting Tata Motors Full Throttle Experience, which consists of 6 different expeditions including off-roading and exploring scenic landscapes of India. During this experience, the customers drive through mountains, passes, around lakes etc. in different weather conditions. Tata Motors recently concluded Himalayan Experience in July 2012 where around 25 Tata SUVs participated. The next one is planned to start from Mumbai on 28th Sep 2012 – The Konkan experience.
