Tata Motors will be in action at the Auto Expo 2023 with tons of products lined up. This includes the facelifted versions of the Harrier and Safari. In addition to that, Tata aims to stay ahead of the league by introducing yet another electric car in the form of Punch. Needless to say, it will expand Tata’s affordable EV portfolio in India. Finally, there will also be the new-gen Connected Car Technology and Hydrogen fuel cell technology that Tata will showcase.

Tata Harrier & Safari Facelift
Arguably, the most anticipated facelift from Tata Motors, we will finally get a glimpse of the facelifted Harrier and Safari. There will, obviously, be aesthetic changes to offer a refreshed appearance. But we are more interested to see if there are any mechanical changes to the popular SUVs. Owners have already complained about the touchscreen infotainment system of the existing Harrier and Safari. Tata will remedy that by introducing a new gen of Connected Car tech features. Additionally, the EV versions of these SUVs are also rumoured to be headed to the Expo.

Tata Punch EV
Punch EV will be a product to watch out for as it can contribute immensely to Tata’s domination in the Indian EV space. Tata already is the sole leader when it comes to EV sales in our country. With yet another affordable EV joining the fray, the immediate and long-term future looks sorted for the Indian carmaker.

Tata CURVV
Tata CURVV represents the next-gen electric cars from Tata Motors. It will be based on the same X1 platform that underpins the Nexon as well. But unlike the Nexon EV which is simply an electrified version of the Nexon, the CURVV will have its own identity. That is also visible in the design that the carmaker had unveiled earlier.

Tata Avinya
Finally, Avinya represents the direction Tata Motors is heading in for the future of mobility with its world-class EV in form of Avinya. Interestingly, Avinya will be based on Tata’s dedicated Gen-3 EV platform which will be designed specifically to ensure that it enjoys all the advantages and features of this platform. As a result, the EV will have a wheelbase of 2,900 mm which is more than even the premium luxury sedans.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology
In more future-oriented news, Tata will also showcase its plans regarding the use of Hydrogen fuel cells in its cars. Hydrogen is being seen as a green alternative to fossil-fuel-powered vehicles. Big carmakers like the Hyundai Motor Group and BMW are spending a lot of money on the R&D of hydrogen fuel cells. Tata will also offer a sneak peek into its future technology.
