Bajaj Pulsar 220 Concept with 250cc Engine
This concept has been illustrated by Abin Designs on Instagram. They have designed quite a subtle version of the 220 when compared to some other digital concepts where the designers go all out. This version still looks like something that could easily be thrown into production. The overall silhouette is evidently inspired by the Pulsar 220 with a sleek headlight, a sculpted fuel tank, semi-fairing body panels on the side finished in black-blue body graphics, black engine elements for that sporty appearance and more.

Moreover, the wind visor is quite large and the handlebars are compact allowing a sporty stance for the rider. The wide ORVMs indicate practicality. At the rear, one can see the split-seat arrangement, slim grab handles for the pillion, chunky shrouds, compact tyre hugger and underbelly protector. Finally, the allow wheel with black spokes at the front looks smaller than the chunky alloy wheel at the rear. But the disc at the front is significantly more prominent than the one at the rear as is the case with all sports bikes.

Specs
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 comes with a 249-cc engine that develops a healthy 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. While the 220-successor seen in the rendering is merely a figment of imagination, it could very well get the N250’s motor if it were to make into production. Meanwhile, the N250 has been a good option for those who need a punchier performer than the RS200 without spending on a KTM Duke 250. Prices of the current Pulsar flagship range between Rs 1.45 lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
