In spite of a couple of fire accidents which took place eventually putting a question at Nano’s safety, Tata is all set sell the world’s cheapest car overseas. The car is doing pretty well in India and to attract more sales figures the company had to think “out of the box”.
The credit for thinking out of the box solely goes to Mr. Ratan Tata urging the company to consider other global markets. Mr. Tata has also stated that the Nano may be offered with a diesel heart and a more powerful 3-cylinder petrol engine and could also consider Tata Nano CNG variant in the near future.
Other than the Indian market the Nano will be sold in the following markets:
- Africa
- Latin America
- Members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
We hope that the new markets contribute to the company’s sales figures and make it more successful.
