Toyota will unveil the Innova Hycross for India on November 25, but spy images of the upcoming MPV are already doing rounds on the internet.
As the official unveiling of the Toyota Innova Hycross nears, a comparison with the Innova Crysta is warranted. Taking into consideration the international model that is sold under the Zenix moniker and the latest spy images, we can expect a more SUV-ish stance rather than the MPV silhouette that the existing and previous Innovas featured. Let us get into this comparison with the details that are available at this point in time.

Toyota Innova Hycross vs Innova Crysta Specs Comparison
While the current-gen Innova comes with both diesel and petrol powertrains, Toyota has stopped taking bookings of the diesel trims. Nevertheless, the MPV has a 2.4-litre 150 PS / 360 Nm diesel mill and a 2.7-litre 166 PS / 245 Nm petrol mill. Both these powertrains have the option of either a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed AT gearbox. On the other hand, the upcoming Innova Hycross will most likely feature naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre petrol and a petrol hybrid powertrain. The former comes with a ladder-frame RWD configuration, while the latter will have the monocoque FWD setup based on the TNGA-C platform.
