Since the arrival of the new Brezza, many enthusiastic owners have been comparing the silhouette to the luxurious Range Rover Evoque. From certain angles, one might, just about, relate the budget SUV to the exotic SUV, but the similarities are not all that obvious. However, with a touch of minor modifications, things could change drastically. Let us go through the details of these modifications here.

Maruti Brezza-Based Range Rover Evoque
The short video clip has been shared on YouTube as Shorts by Aryan.performance-based channel. Going by the registration plate, the vehicle belongs to someone from Hoshiarpur, Punjab. At the front, there are slight tweaks made to the grille section, the headlamps, bumper along with the addition of an ‘in-your-face’ Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and a Range Rover insignia on the front grille to replicate the original model.

On the sides, the chunky and stylish alloy wheels offer an imposing stance. Apart from that, the elements on the side of the bonnet and above the fender are aimed at offering the SUV a more rugged and sporty appearance which is enhanced even further by the white wheel arches. At the rear, the owner really tried forcing the issue with a rather large Range Rover lettering across the boot lid and prominent Evoque badging on the bottom left side. In all honestly, the attempt must be appreciated but one could easily tell which vehicle it actually is.

The new Maruti Brezza comes powered by a next-gen K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid System that outputs 103 hp and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It offers a mileage of 20.15 km/l in LXi and VXi trims (MT), 19.89 km/k in ZXi and ZXi+ trims (MT), and 19.80 km/l in Automatic trim. The prices range from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh, ex-showroom. It competes against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.
