Indian actor Keerthy Suresh was spotted with her swanky new BMW X7 recently. The National Film Award-winning actor shared the image while performing the pooja on the new car via her Instagram. We have seen that the number of Indian actors, politicians and cricketers purchasing ultra-opulent cars has gone up tremendously in recent times although the practice has been around for ages now. The image shows the actor performing pooja for the brand new SUV that is parked next to the MINI Countryman Cooper S, the other luxury hatchback in her garage. Her dog is also seen near the SUV. The blue-coloured X7 looks unmistakably BMW with a massive chrome kidney grille that we typically associate with BMW cars. The new-age dual-LED DRLs are clearly visible in the image as well. X7 is the flagship SUV in BMW’s fleet and oozes luxury and performance.

The BMW X7 comes with 2 powertrain options – a 3.0-litre diesel and a 3.0-litre petrol M Sport trim. The former develops a healthy 265 hp and 620 Nm, while the latter belts out 340 hp and 450 Nm of peak power and torque. There is the option of a 7-seat version with the diesel variant. Both these powertrains are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and xDrive which is BMW’s nomenclature signifying 4WD configuration. The 0-100 km/h comes up in just 6.1 secs with the petrol and 7 secs with the diesel version.

The prices of the BMW X7 start at a whopping Rs 1.18 Crore, ex-showroom. It comes with dual 12.3-inch touchscreens – one for the driver’s instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system.
