Ford Endeavour was not only a revered product in our market but continues to be that in the neighbouring nations.
Ford Endeavour continues to be on sale in Nepal as the country plans to welcome the new 2022 model. It must be mentioned here that while the EcoSport and Figo models were imported from India, the Endeavour was not. Hence, Ford quitting manufacturing in India did not affect the sales of the Endy in Nepal. The 2020 model is still on sale there and the 2022 model will be imported from Thailand (where it is sold as the Everest).

Ford Endeavour on Sale in Nepal
According to some digital media houses, the bookings for the 2022 Endy are now open. While the overall exterior styling will remain largely identical to the outgoing model, there will be a few new bits to inform that this it is the updated version. At the front, the broad grille with a chrome frame will be flanked by LED projector headlamps on either side along with LED DRLs, the bumper will be sportier with a chunky skid plate to accentuate its sportiness. The sides profile will tell the onlookers how long the SUV is although the dimensions will most likely be the same as the current-gen model.

Specs
The main difference could well be under the hood. This new Endeavour would most likely feature a more powerful 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine that produces an impressive 213 PS and 500 Nm of peak power and torque. It will continue to come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Needless to say, the off-roading capabilities of the Endy will continue to be incredible giving a sense of comfort even in the most difficult of terrains.

Price
Currently, the 4×2 trim will the older 2.0-litre engine starts at Rs 1.65 Crore (Nepalese currency) which is roughly Rs 1 Crore (INR). The upcoming model with the new engine and features will start at an attractive introductory price of Rs 1.99 Crore (Nepalese currency) which translates to around Rs 1.22 Crore (INR). Because it is the imported model, the prices are so high. That is the reason why Ford is not considering bringing the Endy to our market via the CBU route despite its massive popularity.
