India’s First Mahindra Thar with 26-inch Alloys
The video has been uploaded on YouTube. In the visuals, you get to witness the modification house and the owners of this special Thar. On the outside, there are many changes including a new grille, modified headlamps, LED DRLs, and the colossal 26-inch alloy wheels. In addition to that, the tyres are Chinese with an ultra-low profile of 305/80 R26. What is more fascinating is that the owner decided to buy 5 alloys so that the tailgate-mounted spare tyre also features the same design. The total cost of 5 alloys and 4 tyres is a whopping Rs 4 lakh. The modifications to the exterior and interior incur additional costs. The LED taillamp has been given a smoked effect.

We would like to mention a few downsides of such large alloys too. First and foremost, the ride quality suffers a lot because the sidewall of the tyres becomes thin and the potholes and undulations on the road are easily able to penetrate and enter the cabin. This causes the ride quality to deteriorate a lot. Secondly, due to the increased weight, the fuel consumption goes up a lot. But people who can spend Rs 4 lakh on alloys might not be too bothered by that. Nevertheless, these are some factors that one must keep in mind before opting for oversized alloy wheels for any car.

Even Gets a Modified Interior
The customization is not just limited to the exterior. On the inside, the leather upholstery with a black theme has also been installed to make it look more sporty and luxurious. The YouTuber takes the viewers inside the cabin to get a first-hand look. To make the cabin even more premium, the materials used for the upholstery are high quality. It has also been used at the back to create a panel above the wheel arches. The floor mats have also been finished in the same material oozing luxury. All in all, the premium quotient of this Thar has been enhanced significantly.
