Hyundai i10 is the highest selling Hyundai car in India and is also the most fuel efficient car of its category. This does not stop Hyundai to make it even better, Hyundai has created a smaller Kappa engine of 1 Litre capacity for the refreshed avatar of Hyundai i10 which will be showcased in Paris Motor Show from 2 to 17 October 2010.
Hyundai spokesperson says that the engine is a stripped down version of 1.2 Litre Kappa engine with intelligent Variable Valve Timing or VVTI, which makes it a very efficient engine.
Along with a smaller displacement and more efficient engine, the new Hyundai i10 Kappa VVT 1 Litre Engine car will also feature some remarkable cosmetic lifts. This will include styling clues from new ix35 crossover. The new car will feature a new sharper headlight and front grille design, newly designed tail lamp cluster and some other cosmetic changes at the rear.
The new i10 Kappa 1 Litre will be Euro 5 emission compliant with its efficient VVT technology. This launch will take place in Paris in month of October and since Diwali is a big occasion in India, there may be an India launch of the new i10 anytime soon after Paris launch.
