Platform and Exterior
While the current-gen model is based on the RWD IMV platform, the next-gen model might be underpinned by Toyota’s low-cost FWD DNGA modular platform with monocoque chassis. As a result, the dimensions of the MPV might be reduced slightly without compromising on the cabin space. Moreover, the exterior of the MPV might also feature significant changes like a larger grille, sleeker LED headlamps, a new set of alloy wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new tail section with tweaked taillights and much more.
