Skoda focuses on marketing campaigns by bringing in celebrities like Sonu Sood and Mouni Roy.
In this latest advertisement campaign, Mouni Roy is being interviewed sitting inside a Skoda Slavia. Slavia is a premium mid-size sedan that challenges the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz and its own cousin, the VW Virtus. Ever since its launch, the healthy sales figures have, sort of, revived Skoda’s market share in India. Slavia, along with Kushaq has turned the fortunes of the Czech carmaker in our market. With ads like these, it aims to expand its footprint even further.

The interviewer asks a ton of personal questions to the popular actress. Most of these questions are related to her professional and personal life, but when asked about Skoda Slavia, she mentions that it is ‘Value Luxury’. She is right in saying that because Skoda offers quality products at marginally higher price points than its rivals. In addition to that, Skoda offers a variety of ‘Simply Clever’ features that are minor twists to regular features. This time around, Skoda has achieved around 90-95% localisation with its products enabling lower maintenance costs too.
