He keeps posting such content in order to raise awareness among car buyers regarding the relevance of safety ratings before buying a car. This incident has been shared by a Tiago owner. A cement mixer truck hit the hatchback from behind and tried to run away. The owner of the Tiago followed and caught him. As seen from the visuals, the damage to the hatchback is not too severe considering the fact that a cement mixer had hit it. The tailgate suffered some damage and is deformed. But it reflects the tough build of the Tiago.

The Tiago has been awarded a 4-star safety rating at the Global NCAP. This makes it one of the safer products in its segment. Tiago comes with a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine making 86 hp and 113 Nm. This engine comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. The Tiago ranges between Rs 5.40 lakh and Rs 7.82 lakh, ex-showroom. The direct rivals include the mighty Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
