For the record, this man drove the old Scorpio for around 1 lakh km which makes him an ideal candidate to offer some feedback. He is clearly impressed with the new Scorpio with the way it looks from the outside and the premium features it offers on the inside. The rugged and muscular silhouette on the outside, along with styling choices and dimensions make it look like a premium SUV that could rival the SUVs from a segment above.

On the inside, the BMW owner points out that the cabin feels much more luxurious than the current-gen model which is also on sale as the Scorpio Classic alongside the Scorpio N. Mahindra is becoming quite renowned for offering ultra-luxurious cabin and features in its latest offering starting from the XUV700. Scorpio follows suit with an opulent cabin, 7- and 6-seat arrangement to fit the needs of every customer. All these factors have persuaded the BMW owner to buy the new Scorpio N himself.

The new Scorpio N comes with a 2.0-litre mStallion direct-injection turbo petrol engine that produces 200 PS and 380 Nm, a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 132 PS / 300 Nm in lower variant, and a massive 175 PS / 400 Nm of peak power and torque on higher variants. There are manual and automatic transmission options to choose from along with the 4×4 drivetrain. The prices of the automatic and 4×4 versions will be revealed later this month while the rest of the lineup ranges between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-showroom. These are introductory prices and will be only applicable for the first 25,000 bookings.
